In the event that your tenant defaults on rent or does not give required notice before vacating the property, you should get in contact with Naborly right away.
To briefly summarize, please be prepared to provide the following information:
- Copy of your lease agreement
- Copy of communications between you and the tenant concerning delinquencies in rent payment or early move out
- Your banking information (for payment dispersal only)
In order to submit a NaborlyShield claim, please follow the steps below to provide us with the information we need to process your request.
On Desktop:
1. Press the NaborlyShield button beside the tenant's name
2. On the top right of the NaborlyShield contract, you will see Actions. Please press Submit Claim to navigate into the claims form.
3. You will then be taken into the Submit Claim form. Once you answer all of the mandatory questions (indicated with an asterisk*) and provide all of the mandatory documentation, you will be able to Submit Claim using the black button at the bottom of the page.
4. Once you have submitted your claim, a member of our NaborlyShield team will reach out to you within the next 24 hours regarding your eligibility and payment.
On Mobile:
1. Press the NaborlyShield button underneath the tenant's name.
2. On the bottom right of the page, you will see Actions icon . After you press this button, please press Submit Claim to navigate into the claims form.
3. You will then be taken into the Submit Claim form. Once you answer all of the mandatory questions (indicated with an asterisk*) and provide all of the mandatory documentation, you will be able to Submit Claim using the black button at the bottom of the page.
4. Once you have submitted your claim, a member of our NaborlyShield team will reach out to you within the next 24 hours regarding your eligibility and payment.
