On our list of Current Income Sources, you can choose Employed - Full Time or Employed - Part Time as your income source type.
You can submit one of the following documents:
Recent Pay Stub
To verify a recent pay stub, it MUST show:
- Your full legal name as stated on the Application
- The amount you receive from your current employment (can be weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, monthly)
- Be dated within the past 30 days
If you are employed full-time or part-time and receive tips that are not shown on your pay stub OR are employed part-time and your most recent pay stub does not represent the hours you normally work, we recommend getting a letter of employment to show your income.
Please also note, that a timesheet is not the same as a paystub. A timesheet is a self made document and should not be uploaded as proof of income
Bank Statement
To verify a bank statement, it MUST show:
- Your full legal name as stated on the Application
- Recent deposits from your current employer
- The employer's name in the deposit line
- Be dated within the past 30 days
Please note that a screenshot from your mobile banking app will likely be unverified as they usually do not show your full legal name, and should NOT be uploaded as your proof of income. It is best to upload a full monthly e-statement to show your recent deposits. You can usually download this from your online bank.
Letter of Employment
To verify a letter of employment, it MUST show:
- Your full legal name as stated on the Application
- The salary/compensation you receive from your employment (can be the hourly wage or the weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, monthly or annual salary)
- How many hours you generally work a week (MUST be included for part-time employees)
- Your employer's name and contact information (i.e. phone number or email)
- Be dated within the past 30 days
Please note that this letter must be written by your current employer.
If you receive tips from your current employment, please make sure to include how much you earn in wages and how much you generally take home in tips in the letter of employment.
Employment Contract
To verify an employment contract, it MUST show:
- Your full legal name as stated on the Application
- The salary/compensation you receive from your employment (can be the hourly wage or the weekly, biweekly, semi-monthly, monthly or annual salary)
- Your employer's name and contact information (i.e. phone number and email)
- The start date of your employment
- Be dated within the past 30 days
Please note that it is best to upload an employment contract onto the Application if you are starting a new job or have just started a new job. If you have been paid at least once by this employer you should upload a different document (i.e. paystub, letter of employment).
Recent Contract Invoice
To verify a recent contract invoice, it MUST show:
- Your full legal name as stated on the Application
- The amount being billed to the customer
- Your employer's name and contact information (i.e. phone number and email)
- Be dated within the past 30 days
Please note that in order to verify a recent contract invoice, it must match the amount you get paid monthly (after tax) as stated on your Application. If you receive multiple contract invoices within a month, we recommend uploading these contract invoices as one document (PDF format works great!) in order to support the full amount stated in your Application.
